Albert Camus
Hi my Name is Bethany Johnson, I am a clinical social worker that provides individual, family, and couples therapy. I have been a resident of Madison Indiana since 2017 when my husband and I purchased a home. I have fallen in love with our little town and the people in it.
I started my journey in Social work in 2013 as a youth counselor in a residential therapeutic foster facility in Louisville, Ky. I worked with girls ages 11-17 with a myriad of social emotional problems and diagnosis.
Following my employment there I worked as a personal care provider providing in home supports to individuals with severe mental illness with Wellspring.
Upon graduating with my masters degree I worked at a community mental health agency as an outpatient and school based therapist in northern Kentucky.
In 2018 I accepted a job in Madison Indiana as an outpatient crisis and intake therapist with Centerstone of Indiana. During the Covid-19 Pandemic I worked with the SAMHSA Sponsored ERSP Grant to develop Suicide prevention and intervention.
In 2021 following returning from Maternity Leave I returned to my position in a part-time Capacity and PRN with Norton KDH as an on Call social worker. In 2023 I left theses positions to focus on my private practice.
In January 2022 upon given the opportunity I started my private practice with the 606 Mental Health offices where my practice resides today.
